The inheritance of the Father
This installation is made by trans woman Ellie who is in her 60’s. Ellie created this work out of ties she inherited from her father, as she was exploring things she wanted to leave behind. The word ‘kuken’ in Swedish means ‘the dick’.
About the project in Sweden
Artist Sam Hultin led writing excercises which resulted in creative writings and artworks by participants. The exhibition features paintings, installations and sculptures as well as a film by Hultin which brings together the creative writings of several project participants.
